Prof. (Er.) Kumar Vikas had a keen interest in construction especially in the structure since his high school days. After completing his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering he did a Master of Technology in Structural Dynamics (Earthquake Engineering) from one of the most reputed institutions in the country, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. Since the North Bihar lies in a highly vulnerable zone considering earthquakes, his inputs on making the building earthquake resistance add substantial value to the projects. He does not believe in compromising the stability of structure at any cost.
